イトウケンジは、桑沢デザイン研究所でプロダクトデザインを学んだのち、2008 年にMUTE を結成、2024年からはKID（Kenji Ito Design）の代表を務めています。 デザイナーとして、日用品や工芸品、家具や什器、それらで構成する空間など幅広い分野で設計に携わる他、クリエイティブディレクターとして、プロダクトの開発を軸に、よりよいブランドの在り方を導き出しています。
Kenji ItoCreative Direction
Kenji Ito studied product design at Kuwasawa Design School and founded MUTE in 2008. Since 2024, he has been serving as the head of KID (Kenji Ito Design). As a designer, he works across a wide range of fields, including the design of everyday items, crafts, furniture, fixtures, and the spaces they inhabit. Additionally, as a creative director, he focuses on product development to shape and enhance the ideal form of brands.
