真喜志奈美

真喜志奈美は、武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン科を卒業したのち、ベルリン国立芸術大学大学院彫刻科、ソウルでのデザイン事務所勤務を経て、1999 年にソウルにてデザイン事務所設立。2003 年に帰国し、国内外で空間、家具、プロダクトまで、多岐にわたる分野でデザインを展開しています。主な空間デザインの仕事としてヨーガンレールの店舗設計、プロダクトデザインの仕事としてD&DEPARTMENT のLAUANSHELVES、日本スエーデンのENVELOPE シリーズがあります。

Nami Makishi

Nami Makishi graduated from the Department of Craft and Industrial Design at Musashino Art University and after completing graduate studies in sculpture at the Berlin University of the Arts and working at a design office in Seoul, she established her own design office in Seoul in 1999. She returned to Japan in 2003 and has since been active in a wide range of fields, including space, furniture, and product design, both domestically and internationally. Her notable spatial design work includes store designs for Jurgen Lehl, and in product design, she has contributed to projects such as the LAUANSHELVES for D&DEPARTMENT and the ENVELOPE series for NIHON SWEDEN.

MAK series

石の塊がただそこに在る。それだけで、景色の片鱗、自然の一断面を傍らに感じます。雨に濡れた石を想起するように、暮らしの中の水場の傍らで石鹸のありかを作る。大小様々なブロックが、水場の傍でその役割を与えられる姿を想定し、3個、あるいは2個のセットを作りました。形状のバランスは、ただ単に美しいと思えるバリエーションにしました。

A block of stone simply exists there. It gives a sense of a fragment of scenery, a piece of nature nearby. Just like evoking the image of a stone wet with rain, we create a place for soap near water areas in daily life. Imagining variously sized blocks fulfilling their roles by the water, we created sets of three or two pieces. The balance of shapes was designed with variations that simply feel beautiful.
