吉行 良平
吉行 良平は、デザインアカデミーアイントホーフェンを卒業したのち、現地オランダのデザイン事務所にて経験をつみ、帰国後自身のデザインスタジオ「吉行良平と仕事」を設立しました。 製造会社や職人との協働で行う家具制作、日用品の設計製作を中心に活動しています。環境や状況における造形をみいだす / form find をもとに、手で素材を動かし実験と検証を繰り返しあるべき構造、色、形を探っています。
Ryohei Yoshiyuki
Ryohei Yoshiyuki graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven and after gaining experience through projects at design studios in the Netherlands, established the design studio “RYTJ” upon returning to Japan. The studio focuses on designing and producing furniture and everyday items in collaboration with manufacturers and craftsmen. Guided by a form-finding approach that discovers shapes based on environments and contexts, the process involves hands-on experimentation and repeated testing of materials to explore the ideal structures, colors, and forms.
